Add it excess sodium and preservatives, chemicals, etc...and there is not much left except meat, fish, veggies and fruit. Eating this way is certainly a lot more healthy and probably cheaper. But giving up old, ingrained bad habits is tough. I use regular sugar and that high-fructose corn syrup stuff. I have gotten away from the HFCS - soooo sweet when you get away! - but having iced tea or hot tea, without sugar??? Difficult!
